Kenneth Walter Cameron was born on October 12, 1908, in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He received a B.A. degree (1930) and a M.A. degree (1931) from West Virginia University, a S.T.B. from General Theological Seminary (1935), and a Ph.D. from Yale (1940).
